From Zero

When I was in high school I did not know what I wanted to do after graduation just work or go to college. I graduated about six years ego from John F. Kennedy High School and I can honestly say I did not receive enough guidance and information I needed to know exactly what I wanted and how to get it, college wise. I thought of going to college to get a degree in Business Administration, but I did not take this serious enough even though I did go to a few college interviews in New York City. I got married at the age of 15 so when I broke up with my ex the same year I graduated form high school I left New York City and started a new journey in Atlanta Georgia. When I got here I forgot all about college and I started working until about three years ego at the age of 20 I saw a commercial in TV from Georgia Medical Institute now called Everest about becoming a medical assistant. So I attended this school and became a medical assistant and started working in a medical office for which I worked for almost 3 years before coming to GPC. Even though I feel like I wasted time and money going to this school, thanks to becoming a medical assistant now I know exactly what I want to do with my career. I am going to pursue a MD degree, I know it is not going to be easy and I know this is going to be a big challenge but to me it is worth it.
